Revolutionary comedy is the French Film of the Month at the Portimão Museum

Free admission, with subtitles in Portuguese

«Tout ce qu'il me reste de la révolution | What I Got of the Revolution», by Judith Davis, is the French Film of the Month, which will be shown next Thursday, May 26, at 21 pm, in the Portimão Museum Auditorium.

With free admission and subtitles in Portuguese, the film, made in 2018, is a comedy that tells the story of Angèle, who has been fighting the problem of her generation: being born “too late” at a time of globalized political crisis.

Born into a family of militants, her sister decides to be a businesswoman and her mother abandoned the political struggle overnight to move to the countryside. Only her Maoist father remains true to her ideals.

Determined and combative, Angèle is dedicated to trying to change the world, while avoiding compromise in her love relationships. What is left of the revolution, its failed meetings and the expectations created?
