Want to learn how to build and build music instruments with vegetables? And attend a concert where they are used? You will be able to do both things next Saturday, the 4th, in a workshop followed by a show that will take place, respectively, at Mercado Municipal and Mercado da Ribeira, in Tavira.
Between 10:00 and 12:00, at the Municipal Market, the workshop “Construction of musical instruments with vegetables” will take place.
In this action, «the great masters of “vegetable music” will share their secrets by teaching how to hear and feel the vegetables, as well as how to transform them into musical instruments», according to the Tavira Chamber.
«In a creative work environment, the understanding of this specific art is deepened with the musicians, who reveal the backstage of this fascinating and creative process», he adds.
The workshops are aimed at children over 10 years old (as they will be working with knives and drills) and adults, with a maximum of 20 participants.

Next, at 21 pm, at Mercado da Ribeira, the show by the Austrians “The Vegetable Orchestra”, who will give a concert «with musical instruments produced with fresh vegetables, creating a differentiating and aesthetically unique musical universe».
