Algarve Luís Costa wins bronze in the Paracycling World Cup

Luís Costa won this Friday, May 13, the bronze medal of the Paracycling World Cup, held in Elzach, Germany.

«The Portuguese paracyclist, racing in the H5 class, made the best use of the originality of this individual exercise of 18 kilometers in the context of paracycling. Instead of being a flat or mixed route, it was an 18 kilometer chrono-climb”, explains the Portuguese Cycling Federation.

In this event, the first place was achieved by the Dutch Mitch Valize, who completed the course in 41'52”56, followed by the Polish Krzysztof Plewa, at 2'04”04.

Luís Costa was in third place, with 2'35”46 more than the winner.
