Profjam, Fernando Daniel, Plutonio, Toy and Bispo are some of the names that will attend the 35th Academic Week of the Algarve, which takes place from 29 April to 7 May, at Complexo Desportivo da Penha, in Faro.
The official poster of the great celebration of the Algarve students was released this Thursday, April 7, at an academic festival.
As usual, the Academic Week begins with the traditional Monumental Opening Serenade, on Thursday, April 28, in the heart of Largo da Sé.
The first day of Wonderland, on Friday, the 29th, is dedicated exclusively to rap, with performances by Lon3r Johny, Nenny and Profjam.
On Saturday, the 30th, the day of blessing folders for the finalists, the Academic Week of the Algarve will welcome Fernando Daniel, author of hits such as “Raro” or “Melodia da Saudade”, Bispo and DJ Ride.
On Sunday, the 1st, which as is usually a day with less crowds, the party is ensured by the popular music of Miguel Bravo, who became known on RTP's "Got Talent Portugal" program, and Quim Remisturas.
The most dedicated day to pop/rock is Monday (2), with concerts by Hybrid Theory – a tribute band to Linkin Park – and Linhas Cruzadas.
On Tuesday, the 3rd, popular music will be back with the Algarve musician Ruben Filipe e Toy, a musician from Setubal who promises to get the whole “Wonderland” dancing.
For Wednesday, the 4th, the performances of Uzzy, a hip hop singer, born in Portimão, and Julinho KSD, who sings, with Dino d'Santiago, the recent hit “Kriolu” are reserved.
As usual, Thursday (5th) is tunas day.
For the penultimate day of Academic Week (6), the Academic Association chose, as artists, Benji Price, Calema and FunkSe in Europe.
The Algarve students' party ends on Saturday, the 7th, with three more concerts, guaranteed by Domi, Plutonio (both linked to hip-hop) and DJ Danni Gato.
This year's edition marks the return of Academic Week, after the 2020 and 2021 editions were canceled due to Covid-19. Regarding the poster of the last SA, in 2019, names such as Toy, Plutonio, Ruben Filipe and Hybrid Theory – Linkin Park Tribute are repeated.
