eight groups of Faro participate in the Portuguese Hip Hop Dance Championship 2022

City of Maia hosts this championship, which brings together crews from all over the country

Soul, Sparks, G'Sparks, Sparks kids, Young Sparks, Sparks Jr, Outsiders and Divine Fem groups, based in Faro, compete at the Hip Hop International Portugal and fight for the National Hip Hop Dance title, on the 23rd and 24th of April at the Maia Tennis Complex.

The crews G'Sparks, Diamonds and Little Diamons, from Faro, will compete in the International Dancehall Contest on April 22.

Hip Hop International Portugal has a new beginning, with many news and surprises happening throughout the 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th, at the Maia Tennis Complex, with the biggest national hip hop dance event to select the best groups and national dancers and Portuguese representatives for the World Hip Hop Championship.

From April 22nd to 24th, there will be classes with the most varied artists, including Abreu and Krayze, André Cosmic, Kate Byednenko, Alex The Cage, Johanna Enough, Gina Michael and Prince Black Eagle.

On the 22nd, the International Dancehall Contest takes place. On the 23rd, the World Battles Top Styles will take place and the qualification in the categories/divisions: Junior
(< 13 years old), JV Megacrew (10 to 40 members up to 18 years old) and Megacrew (groups with 10 to 40 members).

On April 24, the classes/divisions are classified: Varsity (13 to 17 years old), Adult (18 or more) and Minicrew (groups with 3 elements), with World Battles Breaking and Dancehall Clash also taking place. Finally, on the 25th of April, the final of the kids groups (< 10 years old) and the crews selected in the previous days takes place.
