CHUA organizes “Symposium Stroke in the South”

The event «intends to discuss the state of the art in the south of the country in the diagnosis and treatment of this important and prevalent pathology»

The “Symposium Stroke in the South”, preferably aimed at health professionals, takes place on the 29th of April, at the Pousada de Estoi. 

The professionals from the Stroke Unit and the Radiology Service-Faro from the Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve (CHUA) promote this initiative.

The event «intends to discuss the state of the art in the south of the country in the diagnosis and treatment of this important and prevalent pathology», says CHUA.

Throughout the day, several guest speakers will address various topics related to stroke, presenting a multidisciplinary view of the pathology and the models of organization and response.
