To celebrate the International Day of Monuments and Sites, which is celebrated on the 18th of April, Castro Marim is organizing guided tours of the Fort of S. Sebastião.
The visits, which are limited to 20 participants per session and subject to prior registration, will be bilingual and organized into three sessions: 10:00 am (English), 11:00 am (Portuguese) and 14:30 pm (Portuguese). The choice of place to visit to mark the International Day of Monuments and Sites is due to the fact that the fort of São Sebastião de Castro Marim is «the best preserved example of what was the extensive process of renovation of the town's defensive system in the mid- of the XNUMXth century", says the municipality.
