All occupants of the van involved in the accident this Friday, April 8, on Via do Infante, near the Algoz/Pêra exit, were injured, he revealed to Sul Informação source of the Algarve Regional Command for Civil Protection.
There are a total of seven injured due to this rear-end collision between the van and a truck that occurred at kilometer 42 of the A22, in the direction of Portimão-Faro.
Four men, two aged 59 and others aged 35 and 66, were seriously injured. One of them, the 36-year-old, was even transported by helicopter to the Hospital de Faro.
As for the minor injuries, there are three, also all men, aged 36, 38 and 53.
The seriously injured were transported to the Hospital of Faro, while the less serious ones were taken to Portimão.
Via do Infante has, however, been reopened to traffic.
