“Tanto Mar” filling Loulé with culture from Angola, São Tomé and Brazil

This is a co-production “folha de medronho” – association of performing arts of Loulé and Câmara de Loulé

The International Festival of Performing Arts “Tanto Mar” takes place from March 17th to 19th, in Loulé, with shows coming from Angola, São Tomé e Príncipe and Brazil.

The opening of “Tanto Mar” will be free entry, on March 16, from 18:00, at the publishing house Sul Sol e Sal – Casa do Meio Dia.

João de Mello Alvim, artistic director of “Tanto Mar”, says that the Festival does not end on the days of the performances of the shows.

These days are the start of the new work cycle that the “folha de medronho” team develops during the rest of the year, along with the programming of the other cultural activities of this professional association.
