The Portuguese MotoGP Grand Prix, the Walking Festival Ameixial and the Festa das Torchas Floridas, in São Brás de Alportel, are some of the highlights of the new edition of the «Algarve Guide» that brings together the events that will take place in April in the region.

“He is risen as he said! Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah!”.

Two years later, this cry will once again echo through the flower-covered streets of the decorated village of São Brás de Alportel. Easter Sunday, April 17th, will be the Feast of the Flowering Torches and the highest point of this event will be the Resurrection procession.

From the 22nd to the 24th of April, the premier motorcycling event returns to Portugal to compete in the national stage of the MotoGP World Championship, at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve circuit, in Portimão.

On the long weekend from the 22nd to the 25th of April, the Walking Festival Ameixial invites you to visit the interior of the municipality of Loulé.

The month will also feature initiatives such as a concert by Tiago Bettencourt, at Centro Cultural de Lagos, the play “Última Hora”, at Teatro das Figuras (Faro), or the Portuguese Downhill Cup (BTT) in São Brás de Alportel.
