The Loulé Chamber has already opened applications for artistic residencies in the municipality throughout this year.
The residencies are intended to motivate creators to carry out artistic projects in Loulé in different areas: dance, music, theater and artistic projects for children and young people (art for children/youth).
Actions should encourage contact with both the school community and the general public, through open rehearsals, workshops or other formats.
The residencies – one for Theatre, one for Dance, one for Music and another for Art for Children – may have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 days of stay, and include, in addition to accommodation at Palácio Gama Lobo, rehearsal spaces and technical means, as well as a residency grant for meals and production.
Applications will run until 25 April and are intended for actors, directors, choreographers, dancers, performers and musicians, with a maximum of 10 people per project.
Applications that propose to carry out projects that have or enhance a relationship with the territory, that form partnerships with structures based in the municipality and/or region and that propose the holding of open trials, workshops or other formats in Loulé will be valued.
