The animated short film “Ímpar”, directed by three students from the University of Algarve, and the poster of the documentary “Vamos à Vida”, created by designer Pedro Dias from ETIC_Algarve, were awarded at the Sophia Student Awards 2022, from the Portuguese Academy of Cinema, whose results were announced yesterday in Albufeira.
Marta Ribeiro, Laura Equi and Laura Pires, 3rd year students of the Animated Image Course, from the Higher School of Education and Communication (ESEC) of the University of Algarve, were awarded 2nd place in the Animation category. The short film was supervised by Sandra Santos.
Pedro Dias, from ETIC_Algarve, received the 3rd prize in the Best Poster category.
