ANJE gives free mentoring and training to Algarve entrepreneurs

These training sessions will run until June

Enrollment has already opened for a free mentoring and training program for Algarve entrepreneurs that will run until June, in five incubators in the region.

The “Startup Business Skills” training program, promoted by the Algarve branch of the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE), began on March 10, at Palácio Gama Lobo, in Loulé.

The objective is «to support companies and entrepreneurs in the launch phase of their businesses and also startups already established, through a cycle of face-to-face and online workshops, spread across five incubators in the Algarve - Loulé, Faro, Albufeira, Portimão and Tavira», explains ANJE.

For Juan Correia, ANJE's director for the Algarve, «this is a fundamental initiative for ANJE and is in line with the strategy of diversifying the Algarve's business base».

The Startup Business Skills workshop cycle is part of the RESTART project, which was designed with the aim of relaunching the economy of the Algarve post-covid 19.

«It is therefore essential that the regional alignment, which is observed in the network of incubators, to which ANJE belongs, spreads to other sectors, in order to ensure that the region emerges reinforced from the difficult period we are going through. We will only succeed if we face the challenges together», he underlines.

The medium (3 hours) and short (1 hour) workshops will focus on Management Tools, EU Funding (Community Fund Financing), Marketing & Innovation (Marketing and Innovation) and Digital Transition (Digital Transition in Companies), essential in the structuring of any company or business idea.

In addition to the workshops, the SBS program includes three Business Talks dedicated to the Digital Transition in the Health, Tourism and Agrifood sectors, within the scope of the Algarve Tech Hub Summit (28 March to 2 April) and 150 hours of individual mentoring sessions with of companies and entrepreneurs who participate in the face-to-face workshops.

These training sessions will run until June this year and «are a great opportunity for anyone who is starting or has already started a business activity and wants to deepen their skills in relevant areas, improve the performance of their companies or projects and create networking networks ».

Startup Business Skills is promoted by ANJE - National Association of Young Entrepreneurs and promoted in partnership with the Regional Network of Incubators of the Algarve, as part of the RESTART project, financed by CRESC Algarve 2020, which has as partners UAlg/CRIA and the NERA
