The documentary «Homens na Falésia», directed by Helder Mendes and broadcast on the RTP program “Desporto e Natureza”, in the 60s, is the starting point for the gathering promoted by GAMP – Grupo de Amigos do Museu de Portimão, on Saturday , 12 February, at 17:00, in the Auditorium of that museum.
It will be the way for the GAMP to resume its cycle of gatherings ”Conversas com o Algarve ao Fundo”, this time in the company of Helder Mendes, former director of RTP and member of that Group of Friends of the Museum of Portimão.
The GAMP stresses that «it will be, as always, another excellent opportunity to remember the hard and risky life of the men of the sea, in particular, of the preceve fishermen of the Costa Vicentina, in the Aljezur area».
The gathering is free of charge, but subject to the safety rules in force.
