Interview with historian Graça Ventura about the new book and her work


The researcher Maria da Graça Ventura presented her latest book, “Por Este Mar Adentro” a few days ago, at the Café Concerto do TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão, an occasion seized by the Sul Informação to interview the author.

Published by Tinta da China, this is Graça Ventura's seventh book and addresses the successes and failures of Algarve seafarers and emigrants in Hispanic America, culminating decades of research in archives and sources on both sides of the Atlantic.
