An explosion of a gas cylinder made in the early hours of Wednesday, December 22, four injured. The accident took place in a house, in front of the Aquashow water park, in Quarteira.
The alert was given at 5:30 pm.
According to SIC Notícias, three of the injured are people "who were in the house".
Two are in serious condition: "a 61-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man", while a 15-year-old girl only suffered "mild injuries".
The fourth victim is a 48-year-old firefighter from the Loulé corporation, who "suffered injuries" during the rescue.
Also according to this television station, when the explosion took place there were "seven people in the room".
The explosion caused extensive damage to the house, as well as to three neighboring houses. There were also "seven vehicles hit by the wreckage".
