FOLLOW the Festival in Faro with music for all tastes

Initiative will take place at Associação Recreativa e Cultural de Músicos, from November 19th to December 5th

The Recreational and Cultural Association of Musicians (ARCM) presents the first edition of the *SIGA* Festival, an event that «has revolutionized winter posters for its eclectic and diversified content, with styles from rock ao jazz. blues ao folk, passing by hip hop and for electronics', to be held from 19 November to 5 December, at its headquarters in Faro.

Carlão, Frankie Chavez, The Legendary Tigerman and Linda Martini headline the poster, which also includes names such as Filho da Mãe, Cassete Pirata, O Gajo, 2143, Sal, Dela Marmy, The Mirandas and Lefty, in three festival weekends , with musical genres that pass through the rock, jazz, blues, folk e hip hop, uniting different tastes and age groups.

The concerts will take place in the *SIGA*, Morcego and Multiusos rooms, with the Pátio Jimi operating free of charge, as a «meeting place for different audiences that come looking for different things, within Culture», says the events director of ARCM, Jorge Santos.

Every night the *SIGA* room will feature DJ sets, whose programming, according to Jorge Santos, ranges from "electronics to African rhythms", featuring names such as Madd Rod and Black Bambi, on the 19th and 20th of November, respectively, Renato aka Renato and Dj Duo 422 on 26th and 27th and Badoga & Figueira and Micah closing the festival (December 3rd and 4th). For those who do not purchase a ticket, entry to will have a cost of three euros.

In addition to the DJ Sets at Sala *SIGA*, every Sunday there will be Jazz in the Pátio at 18:00.

As for the program, the 19th of November will feature concerts by Filho da Mãe, at 21 pm, and by Dela Marmy, at 30 pm, both at Sala Morcego. At midnight the concert by Madd Rod will take place in the *FOLLOW* room.

On the 20th it will be Linda Martini's turn, at 21:30 pm, from 2143, at 23:00 pm, and Cocktail Room – Roddes, at midnight, three concerts that will take place at Sala Morcego. Also on this day, at 22 pm, the concert by Black Bambi will take place, in the *SIGA* room, which arises from a partnership with Associação Casa Branca.

Both on the 19th and 20th, the Multiusos room will host Mar Motto, between 18:00 pm and 4:00 am, for a concert that was born out of the partnership with Associação SCIAENA and which is free to enter.

On Sunday, November 21, it will be the turn of the ARCM Jazz Quartet to perform at the association's Patio at 18:00.

On the second weekend of the festival, on the 26th of November, there will be concerts by O Gajo, at 21 pm, and Frankie Chavez, at 30 pm, both in the Morcego room. However, the *SIGA* wing welcomes Cabrita, at 23:00 pm, and Renato aka Renato, at midnight.

On Saturday, the 27th, it is the turn of Sal, at 21 pm, and Cassete Pirata, at 30 pm, in the Morcego room. with free entry.

The night will end in the *FOLLOW* room with DJ Duo 422, starting at 23:00.

On November 28, the jazz content returns with a concert by Rui Filipe Freitas Trio at 18:00.

In December, on the third and last weekend of the festival, the 3rd, the Morcego room will host The Mirandas, at 21:30 pm, and The Lengendary Tigerman feat. Goat, at 23:00. At the same time, in another of the rooms, the SRAF – “Os Artistas” will perform, with DJ Bruno Jorge. The night ends, as usual, in the *SIGA* room, to the sound of Badoga & Figueira, at midnight.

On the following day, the 4th, the first show will be by Lefty, at 21:30 pm, followed by a performance by Carlão, at 23:00 pm, both in the Morcego room. Also at 23:00, SCRAF – “Os Artistas” will take place, in the Multiusos room, with night DJs, with free entry. The night ends in the *GO* room with Dj Micah.

The farewell takes place on Sunday, December 5th, with the last performance of Jazz no Pátio, in charge of João Melro Jazz Unit, at 18 pm.

The cost of the ticket differs depending on the day and membership status, as: for Filho da Mãe and Dela Marmy (on 19 November), the ticket will be 10 euros for members and 12 for non-members and for 2143 and Linda Martini (20 November), the cost will be 12 euros for Association members and 14 euros for the general public.

As for the concerts by O Gajo and Frankie Chavez (on the 26th), as well as for Sal and Cassete Pirata (on the 27th), tickets will cost 12 euros for members and 14 euros for non-members, for The Mirandas and Legendary Tigerman feat. Cabrita (December 3rd) the value will be 12 euros/members and 15/non-members, and, finally, for Lefty and Carlão (day 4) the ticket will be 13 euros for members of the Association and 15 euros for those who are not it is.

There are also two alternative ticket options, being the general pass, worth €65 for members and €75 for the general public, or the weekly pass, with a ticket for the first weekend at €21 and €25, for the second, 23 euros and 25 euros and, finally, for the last weekend, it will cost 24 euros and 26 euros, with the first value presented for members and the second for non-members, respectively.

Tickets can be purchased from ARCM at bol.pt and in FNAC stores or in the Festival website *FOLLOW*. In the case of members of the Association, they will only have a discount if they purchase tickets via e-mail [email protected] or by calling 968 506 072.
