Lagos Municipal Police "won" 11 2nd class officers

Provisioning ceremony took place last week

11 2nd class police officers from the Municipal Police of Lagos officially began their duties on the 6th, in a ceremony that took place at Paços do Concelho Século XXI, in this city in the Barlavento Algarvio region.

The agents now sworn in, «successfully completed the one-year probationary internship, legally required for access to the career of Municipal Officer 2nd Class of the Municipal Police», according to the Câmara de Lagos.

During the internship, «these 11 elements attended a training course given jointly by the FEFAL Foundation and the Practical Police School, which included modules of an administrative, civic and specific professional nature, which took place over a semester».

The second semester «consisted in the performance of activities inherent to the functions of administrative police in the area of ​​jurisdiction of the Municipality, carried out in accordance with the Regulation of the Service and the superior directives».

The ceremony, which was attended by Sérgio Remudas, commander of the Municipal Police of Lagos, and Hugo Pereira and Joaquina Matos, Mayors and Mayors of Lagos, respectively, was divided into two parts.

In the first stage, diplomas and certificates from the training course for entry into the Municipal Police career were handed out, employment contracts in public functions were signed and the Lagos Municipal Police portfolio was handed over.

"The second moment of the ceremony consisted of the graduation and imposition of badges on the new agents, accompanied by their blessing," revealed the municipality.

«In addition to the 11 elements who have now officially started functions as 2nd class municipal agents, seven other elements are also attending the second part of the course, who, soon and after passing the internship, will also officially join their colleagues. , as municipal police», concludes the Chamber.
