The opera “O Barbeiro de Sevilla”, by G. Rossini, will be on stage on November 20, at 21 pm, at the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, in Lagoa.
Written in the century. 1792th century, the opera is, without doubt, «one of the best known musical works» and the most performed in the world is that of the composer Gioachino Rossini (1868/XNUMX).
The story revolves around «an attempt to seduce a beautiful young woman named Rosina, by the rich and beautiful Count of Almaviva», explains the municipality of Lagoa.
There are several characters involved in the intrigue, but the figure of Figaro stands out, the city barber who, being a matchmaker, intriguing and gossip, will create great confusions, all of them hilarious.
«Like any beautiful love story, this one is not far behind, and the opera ends in a happy marriage between the Count of Almaviva and Rosina», emphasizes the municipality.
Tickets cost 10 euros and are already on sale at online ticket offices, as well as at Fnac, Worten, at Auditório Carlos do Carmo and at Balcão Único da Câmara de Lagoa.
