The comedy “Ai a Minha Filha”, with the actors Carlos Cunha, Erika Mota, Miguel Ribeiro, Lígia Ferreira and Carla Janeiro, will be presented this Friday, November 12th, at 21 pm, at the Cineteatro de São Bras de Alportel.
This piece by Roberto Pereira and Eva Jesus tells the story of Jacinto, «a fifty-year-old whose life always went by the wayside, until the moment when his wife caught him, in the act, betraying her. Possessing a great lip and an even greater libido, Jacinto always had all women at his feet. But from that day onwards, everything changed…», the municipality of São Brás de Alportel begins by saying.
«Suddenly, everything went wrong for him: he went from restaurant owner to waiter, from wealthy to well-off, from head of household to single father, and from womanizer to stranded. And this is the biggest of his ills: being without a wife for two years. Living with his daughter since then, Jacinto will do everything to return to live one (or more) great love. And for that, it will try everything. And everything is really everything. Even professional help», he explains.
Jacinto is far from knowing that "the root of all his problems lies under his roof: and he is neither more nor less than his daughter", stresses the municipality.
The play, rated for children over 12, lasts for 90 minutes.
