The 9th edition of the Vilamoura Champions Tour runs until 21 November at the Clube Hípico de Vilamoura. 

This international competition will feature a prize money of 1,1 million euros.

For this international circuit, which brings together the best riders in the world and takes place over six weeks, more than 900 horses are entered and will participate with about 18 teams representing, among others, major world powers of obstacles such as the United States, Argentina, Chile and Colombia.

The Vilamoura Champions Tour includes weekly qualifying events during which teams try to obtain the minimum qualifications for the 2022 World Equestrian Games in Herning, Denmark, and for the Junior European Championships in Oliva Nova, Spain, also in 2022 .

«The Vilamoura Champions Tour is one of the most renowned equestrian circuits in the world, which also justifies the effort to have a prize money over one million euros», says António Moura, organizer of the competition.
