FOLLOW the music on Faro with Carlão, Frankie Chavez, The Legendary Tigerman and Linda Martini

Carlão, Frankie Chavez, The Legendary Tigerman and Linda Martini are the headliners of the *SIGA* Festival, which will take place between November 19th and December 5th, at the Associação Recreativa e Cultural de Músicos (ARCM), in Vila- within Faro.

The event will also feature names such as Filho da Mãe, Cassete Pirata, O Gajo, 2143, Sal, Dela Marmy, The Mirandas and Lefty.

Over three weekends, there will be concerts of various musical genres, «which include rock, blues, folk and hip hop, uniting different tastes and age groups», according to ARCM.

The shows will take place in the *SIGA*, Morcego and Multiusos rooms, with Pátio Jimi functioning as a «meeting place for diverse audiences who come looking for different things within Culture», according to Jorge Santos, ARCM's events director. To ensure that this happens, access to this last space will be free.

The concerts, which will have different prices, will take place at the Morcego room.

 

 

On the 19th of October, Filho da Mãe & Dela Marmy takes the stage and on the 20th, 2143 and Linda Martini act. On the following weekend, on the 26th and 27th, the public can count on O Gajo and Frankie Chavez (on the 26th), as well as Sal and Cassete Pirata (on the 27th). The third and final weekend begins with performances by The Mirandas and Legendary Tigerman, on December 3rd, and continues with Lefty and Carlão, on December 4.

The *SIGA* Room will feature DJ sets every night, whose programming, according to Jorge Santos, ranges from "electronics to African rhythms".

Madd Rod and Black Mambi perform on November 19th and 20th, respectively. Renato aka Renato gives music on the 26th, while the 27th acts Duo 422. Badoga & Figueira (3rd November) and Micah (4th) will close the DJ schedule. Entrance to this room will be free, with the exception of November 20th.

The Festival *SIGA* also aims to give voice and stage to various associations, such as Associação 289 and Associação Cultural ArQuente, responsible for programming the first and third weekends.

The Associação Verão Azul also holds, on the night of 20 November, a party to close the first weekend.

Finally, the Association Blues do Algarve was another of the chosen entities, and will handle the Sala Multiusos programming on the second weekend.
