Plan wants to give basic digital skills to 50 Algarve adults by 2023

Activities will take place in all municipalities

To provide 50 Algarve adults with basic digital skills by 2023. This is the main objective of an «ambitious plan» approved by the Algarve Operational Programme.

CRESCalgarve 2020 approved the financing of the Eusoudigital – Algarve Program, which then aims to cover 50 adults in training actions in basic digital literacy by 2023.

According to the Algarve's Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR), this programme, presented by a consortium formed by Caixa Geral de Depósitos (Coordinating Entity and Social Investor), Foundation for Science and Technology (Responsible for Public Policy) and by company A2D Consulting, Lda. (Implementing Entity), adopts the model, already successfully tested, of the MUDA program».

The pedagogical strategy “is based on a vast training program for mentors, on the creation of a network of volunteers, on the creation of MUDA Centers, and on diagnostic and digital training activities, taking place in all 16 municipalities”.

With a contribution from the European Social Fund, public investment, estimated at 362 euros, will be ensured by the Algarve Operational Programme.
