With “Club Makumba” and chilling tales, Halloween is celebrated in Portimão

Tickets for the concert can now be purchased

A concert by Club Makumba and tales to make you chill. This is how Portimão will celebrate Halloween, starting this Friday, October 29th. 

On Friday, “The witches come back to the Library” with chilling stories for preschool and elementary school children, through the narrative of several frightening tales, which will take place at the Manuel Teixeira Gomes Municipal Library in three periods – 1:10 am, 00:11 am and 00:14.

On Saturday, the 30th, the scare session will take place at 16 pm and is aimed at families, with drama and various readings always taking place.

On the same date, from 21 pm, Tó Trips (Dead Combo and Lulu Blind, among others), João Doce (Wraygunn), Gonçalo Prazeres and Gonçalo Leonardo will step on stage at TEMPO – Portimão Municipal Theater for the Club's Halloween concert Makumba, a project that will take the viewer on a journey through the sounds of the Mediterranean and imagined Africa.

«The band is one of the most recent and solid projects in the Portuguese music scene and originated in the partnership created between Tó Trips and João Doce, who were joined by Gonçalo Prazeres and Gonçalo Leonardo, leading a free, spontaneous, experimental and tribalist exercise». says the Chamber of Portimão.

Tickets for the performance of the musical project Club Makumba cost 10 euros and can be purchased at the TEMPO box office, from Tuesday to Saturday between 13:00 pm and 18:00 pm, and on the night of the show until its beginning, and are also available online here and in the usual places that adhere to BOL, such as FNAC, Worten, CTT, Youth Hostels, El Corte Inglês, Lojas Note! and Serveasy Network.
