The Rectum Cancer Reference Center of the University Hospital Center of the Algarve (CHUA), in partnership with the Oncological Association of the Algarve (AOA), will organize next Monday, the 25th of October, at 18 pm, a webinar online under the theme “Self-esteem: Body Image of the Ostomized Patient”.
The initiative, which is aimed at ostomates, caregivers and the population in general, has the participation of Patrícia Elias and Felicidade Tomé, respectively, psychologist and nurse at Associação Oncológica do Algarve and Nádia Costa and Ricardo Correia, nurses at CHUA.
In addition to technical presentations, the program also includes a space for sharing the patient's experience, as well as a moment for debate on the subject.
