Lídia Jorge will be at the Madrid Book Fair

Writer participates in autograph session and conversation at Casa de México in Madrid

Writer Lídia Jorge, born in the Algarve, is one of the Portuguese authors who will be at the Madrid Book Fair, in autograph sessions with readers, announced today the embassy of Portugal.

The 80th edition of the Madrid Book Fair, which opened on 10 September and runs until 26, was eagerly awaited by booksellers, publishers, writers and readers after a two-and-a-half-year interruption due to the pandemic of covid- 19.

The Portuguese Lídia Jorge, who in 2020 won the Prize at the International Book Fair of Guadalajara (Mexico), participates in a conversation at the Casa de México in Madrid about Mexican literature and the authors “who left a decisive mark on her” (Juan Rulfo, Carlos Fuentes, José Emilio Pacheco, Octavio Paz, Elena Poniatowska and Carmen Boullosa).

Lídia Jorge will be at the Madrid Book Fair for an autograph session with readers, on September 24th.
