Two rounds of the Portuguese BMX Cup will be played in Portimão

Rounds 5 and 6 of the Portuguese BMX Cup will take place this weekend, 18 and 19 September, in Portimão. 

The race was scheduled to take place on the Vila Verde BMX track, in Figueira da Foz.

“However, the bad weather that has befallen the center of the country in recent days has caused damage that does not allow the event to take place this weekend,” explains the Portuguese Cycling Federation.

In competition will be the categories of pupils, benjamins, initiates, children, female 5/8 years, female 9/12 years, juveniles, cadets, female 13/14 years, female 15 years, juniors/elites, masters and cruisers (+ 13 years).

On Saturday, the 18th, the competition will start at 16:30 pm, with the qualifying heats, followed by the qualifiers and then the finals. The same will happen on Sunday, September 19th, from 10am.
