The seminar “Heritage to Discover. The class is on the street”, aimed at teachers and other educational and cultural agents, takes place on October 6th, from 17:30 pm to 20:30 pm, in the auditorium of Escola Secundária Júlio Santas, in Lagos.
The initiative is organized by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve (DRCAlg).
The training, by Graça Lobo, with the collaboration of Conceição Barão and Maria Dulce Margarida, will address, among other topics, the history of monuments and suggest strategies for working with students from different levels of education.
This seminar is part of the European Heritage Days.
Being an initiative of the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve / Fortaleza de Sagres and the Order of Architects, in partnership with the Dr. Rui Grácio Training Centre, this short-term training action «has as its central scenario the deepening of teachers' knowledge and other educational and cultural agents on national and local heritage,” says DRCAlg.
