The Silves Walking and Running Center has open enrollment for another sporting season that starts this Tuesday, 14th of September.
This center, run by the Municipality of Silves, through its Sports sector, aims to provide technical support to all those interested in the practice of walking and running activities.
Its work is aimed at all citizens who, practice or intend to start this type of activity – walking and/or running, and who wish to be advised in order to get more out of their daily training.
On Tuesdays there is a march, at 16 pm and 00 pm, with a meeting point at the reception of the Silves Swimming Pools. On the same day, and at the same meeting point, the racing modality will also be promoted, at 18:00 pm and at 18:30 pm.
On Thursdays, there will be a march at 9:30 am and 11:00 am and a race at 18:30 pm and 20:00 pm, also starting at the reception of the Pools.

The sessions are free, and only 10 euros insurance payment is required.
The Silves March and Race Center has the support of the National March and Race Program, the IPDJ (Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth) and the Portuguese Athletics Federation.
