ASMAL exhibits “Six years of stories to share memories” at the Loulé Library

The exhibition is part of the commemorations of the World Mental Health Day, which takes place on 10 October

ASMAL – Algarve Mental Health Association will present to the public the exhibition “Six years of stories to share memories” this Friday, October 1st, at the Municipal Library of Loulé, and will be on display until the end of the month.

The exhibition is part of the commemorations of the World Mental Health Day, which takes place on 10 October.

This show brings together 35 puppets from five children's theater plays, entirely created by the Children's Theater Group “A Bambolina” from the Apoiada Life Unit and the Social Occupational Forum of Almancil.

These pieces were presented to children from kindergartens and primary schools in the municipalities of Loulé, Olhão, Faro and Albufeira, with the aim of demystifying the stigma associated with mental illness and providing the school community with access to this type of cultural activities.
