On the 13th and 27th of August, São Brás de Alportel will receive “the magic of the seventh art” with outdoor cinema sessions for the whole family in different public spaces in São Brasenses, in a partnership with Cinema Lua – Associação Cultural.
The film cycle “Best Films Ever” will present two itinerant sessions, also reserving an innovative inflatable cinema session for the 15th, organized with the institutional support of the Ministry of Culture and the City Council.
This Friday, August 13, the Verbena garden will remember “Amigos Improváveis” at 21 pm, “a film centered on the relationship between a quadriplegic multimillionaire and his peculiar nursing assistant. A film inspired by real stories, the profit of which was donated, in large part, to an association that helps the disabled», according to the municipality of São Brás.
On Sunday 15th, the inflatable cinema will open its doors in the Carrera Viegas garden to present children from 3 to 12 years old with a selection of short films designed for their age group.
Free entry, subject to the capacity of the venue, the inflatable cinema “invites you to a different experience” between 10:00 and 17:00.
At the end of the month, on August 27th, the cycle returns, this time to the Churchyard of the Picturesque Church of São Romão, for the shooting of the dramatic comedy “Capitão Fantástico”.
This is another movie session in the moonlight, starting at 21 pm, "which tells the story of a family forced to integrate into society after a decade of isolation", stresses the municipality.
Although admission is free, it is subject to the number of seats available, reduced in view of the current rules for preventing contagion by Covid-19.
Tickets must be reserved at the Municipal Gallery and collected on the same day at the exhibition site, from 20:30 pm.
Compliance with public health and safety rules such as the use of masks, hand hygiene and social distancing is mandatory.
