Jorge Costa is no longer coach of the main football team of Farense, announced this Monday, 30 August, the Algarve club.
In a statement, the SAD do Farense says it "has reached an agreement with coach Jorge Costa to end the contractual relationship."
the club of Faro he recalls “the difficult moment” when the coach “took over the professional team”, praising “his character and dedication”.
Jorge Costa arrived at Farense in February this year to replace Sérgio Vieira, having been unable to avoid relegation.
Despite having remained at the helm of the Algarve, in the II League, the season did not start in the best way: in 4 games, the team only has 1 point conquered.
In the same statement, Farense thanks "profoundly to coach Jorge Costa, wishing many future sporting and personal successes."
