Jerónimo de Sousa, general secretary of the PCP, will participate, on Saturday, 14 August, in two CDU initiatives that will take place in the Algarve.
At 13 pm, a CDU luncheon will take place at Al-Mutamid square in Silves, which will include the presentation of several municipal candidates and the intervention of Rosa Palma, candidate for a new term at the head of the Silvense municipality.
At 19:30 pm, a CDU dinner will take place at Praça Marquês de Pombal in Vila Real de Santo António.
With these two initiatives, which usually take place in mid-August in the Algarve region, the CDU – which competes against all local authorities in the Algarve region – moves towards a new phase in the preparation of local elections, making known not only the work carried out. throughout the last term of office for the benefit of the populations, but also, its proposals within the scope of a distinct municipal project marked by the work, honesty and competence of its elected representatives.
With the presence of hundreds of candidates and CDU supporters in the two initiatives that will take place next Saturday, the CDU reaffirms that "all recommended rules will be ensured against the epidemic, in order to guarantee the safety of these two events."
