Applications are now open for the “Startup Albufeira” business incubator, a project that aims to “encourage the creation and consolidation of new companies, with a view to promoting an entrepreneurship that generates economic and social development”.
According to the Municipality of Albufeira, which launched the application process on the 23rd, when it celebrated 35 years of elevation as a city, this is «an incubator dedicated to entrepreneurship and the development and maturation of new ideas, which aims to support entrepreneurs in the process. sustainable development of its businesses'.
"Individuals (individuals and self-employed professionals) and legal persons (commercial companies), holders of innovative ideas and projects and with entrepreneurial potential, formally constituted less than 2 years before the date of application submission, may apply, as well as those whose constitution process is in progress on the date of formalization of the candidacy».
There are no restrictions regarding the type of projects to be presented, and 'any type of company/project that aims to develop and market innovative products or services may be accepted, with preference given to companies/projects linked to creativity and tourism".
The submission of applications is made, solely and exclusively, in the Startup Albufeira website.
"Here, in addition to formalizing the application, you can find all the information about the incubator, the spaces available, as well as the services provided by it and the respective regulations", according to the Chamber.
