Four months after the fire that completely consumed the building, the Estaminé restaurant on Ilha Deserta, in Faro, reopens this Sunday, 1st of August, being guaranteed the minimum services of support to the beach.

Access walkways are installed, bathrooms and showers available for use by beach users and the Estaminé restaurant ready to serve some drinks and snacks.

Although some areas are still receiving attention from the team rebuilding the building, “the conditions are in place to guarantee the minimum access and use of the beach and the building,” says a press release sent to the newsrooms.

Thatchs and sun loungers are available for hire from the start of the bathing season and the beach is guarded as it is every year.

After the fire in March of this year, the projection for the reopening was scheduled for the 1st of July, but «the situation we are currently in has not fulfilled the promise and it is from the 1st of August that you will be able to visit the only restaurant on the island. Deserted».

The appearance remains similar to the old space, as well as the menu that will continue “representing the traditional Algarve tradition with fresh fish and seafood”.
