There will be “five concerts, in five days, in very special places”. Capitão Fausto will be on tour, from August 29th to September 2nd, in the islands of Faro: Breech, Hangars, Farol, Desert and Beach of Faro.
“The van, a companion on so many trips, is replaced by the boat, but the instruments are not waterproof. We join a small audience for intimate moments at the end of these afternoons, with the hope of making our music an integral part of the life of these beautiful islands», said Capitão Fausto, in a press release.
“The proposal is simple, it is demanding but it is above all passionate and necessary for us to turn our back on the recent dark times and face the light of the days ahead”, he adds.
Tickets are free and will be available in a very small quantity in the shop Faro Somos Todos (Rua Lethes) on the 25th of August, next Wednesday, from 11:00 am.
Tickets (only 24 available for each performance) will have all the necessary information to reach the destination where the concerts are taking place. It will only be possible to collect one ticket per person for one of the concerts.
These unpublished performances will also result in a mini documentary that will later be edited.
The project has the support of the Garantir Cultura Program, as well as the Chamber of Faro and the Theater of Figures.
Capitão Fausto, whose vocalist is Tomás Wallenstein, are the authors of songs such as “Amanhã Tou Melhor”, “Amor, our vida” or “Boa Memória”.
