Lagoa is implementing the platform ePaper which will allow that, from the “next days”, it will become possible to deliver urban planning processes in digital format to the municipality's services.
«The municipality of Lagoa has been preparing for many months to put into practice this environmentally friendly solution that will improve and enhance the services provided to the population, simplifying them. The municipal executive believes that the implementation of the ePaper it will reduce the time it takes for elements to enter the system, ensuring all the tasks necessary for the handling, analysis, appraisal and calculations associated with projects with greater speed, safety and rigor”, says the municipality.
Through the platform, all applications covered by the Legal Regime for Urbanization and Building (RJUE) will be introduced, as well as those relating to economic activities, "that comply with certain technical specifications".
All employees in the municipality have already had specific training in using the platform.
«For some years now, the municipality of Lagoa has been investing in administrative modernization to allow for greater response capacity and to adapt to today's demands, both environmental and technical. The implementation of this platform is very important for the development of the municipality», emphasizes Luís Encarnação, Mayor.
The municipality considers it necessary that «everyone understands the importance of this tool for the municipality and how much it can improve services, through the responsiveness of our technicians in urban planning processes», adding that this «is a complex change, since it will break with ways of working that have been in place for years, but necessary».
In a note sent to the newsrooms, the Câmara de Lagoa «calls for the understanding and collaboration of all for some constraints that may arise in the first days of the implementation of the ePaper digital platform».
