A project by students from the Pontal School Center, in Portimão, created a structure, in the shape of Planet Earth, which raises awareness of environmental preservation.
The Curriculum Enrichment Activities project of the Poeta António Aleixo Schools Grouping (AEPAA), developed by Ensinar a Sorrir – Association for Solidarity and Support to the Family in collaboration with the AEPAA Parents Association, set the tone for AEC students and teachers Experimental Sciences to develop this project.
In this way, students and teachers built a structure in the shape of Planet Earth, «ornate with obsolete accessories from the fishing arts», says the Pontal School Center.
The materials “were kindly provided by the fishermen of Portimão who also collaborated in alerting the students to the entire community”.
«The structure is at the entrance of the school so that everyone can contribute to the completion of the project».
