Meeting at the Library of Faro will discuss “Disability as a social problem”

The meeting “Disability as a social problem” will take place on the 9th of July, from 14 pm, at the Municipal Library of Faro. 

This initiative is coordinated by João Luís Gonçalves (attorney of the Family and Minors Court of Faro) and will feature the participation of Carla Pires (Irene Rolo Foundation – Tavira), Cláudia Gonçalves (Existir Association – Loulé) and Sandra Gonçalves (Algarvian Association of Parents and Friends of Mentally Diminished Children).

“The theme is related to how society conditions, limits and can even “create” and enhance disability. This is not just a medical and individual problem but, above all, a matter for the whole society», says the organization.
