“Lagoa, Segura de Si” campaign promotes “ideal destination for a safe holiday”

Campaign will be released in the last half of 2021

The promotional campaign “Lagoa, Segura de Si” started at the beginning of June and will be released during the last semester of 2021, announced today the municipality.

The campaign will be in different media such as urban furniture, outdoor advertising, written press and digital media, being centered on the national market, considered by the municipality as "fundamental for the resumption of tourist activity, but will also have promotional actions planned in the main markets emitters from Europe'.

Lagoa «remains an ideal destination for families who want to enjoy a safe vacation, where our paradisiacal beaches top the attraction of a territory that offers excellent tourist infrastructure, and unique attractions such as the spas, typical gastronomy in restaurants, excellent service in our hotels, golf courses, wine tourism properties or maritime tourism activities, among others», says Luís Encarnação, Mayor.

«These attractions provide experiences where comfort, well-being and tranquility are transversal feelings that are strengthened in the destination, after the challenges that were placed on us», he adds.

The campaign also includes the launch of a promotional video, to be presented in the coming weeks, which will allow visitors to understand what Lagoa do Algarve offers.

The recent prizes awarded, with a safer destination (European Safe Destination 2021) and from safer beaches to Nova and Grande beaches (European Safe Beaches 2021) are the motto of the campaign that intends to position Lagoa in the top of mind of the favorite vacation spots of the Portuguese and Europeans.
