The number of certified clubs in the Algarve has risen to 23, after the process for the 2020/2021 season has already ended.
Thus, the Algarve Football Association (AFA) once again increased, for the second consecutive season, the number of certified emblems and will have, in 2021/2022, 23 clubs with federative distinction, without previous reductions in classification.
In global terms, the Algarve rises from 18 to 26 recognized certification processes.
In football, Louletano Sports Club, Portimonense Sporting Clube/Portimonense Futebol SAD, Sporting Clube Farense/Sporting Clube Farense – Algarve Futebol SAD and Sporting Clube Olhanense/Sporting Clube Olhanense SAD are training entities certified with 4 stars.
Esperança de Lagos Football Club, Quarteirense Sports and Recreation Club, “Os Armacenenses” Football Club, Immortal Desportivo Club, Youth Sport Campinense, Lusitano Ginásio Club Moncarapachense and Quatro ao Cubo – Olhão Sports Association are
training entities certified with 3 stars, while the Academic Association of Bela Vista and the Sport Association Geração de Génios obtained the classification of 2 stars and the Silves Futebol Clube 1 star.
Football School Association of Faro, Casa Sport Lisboa e Benfica in Lagos, Clube Desportivo de Odiáxere and Internacional Club Almancil are basic training centers.
In futsal, Portimonense Sporting Clube, Somnambulos Futsal Luzense Associação and Sporting Clube Farense are training entities certified with 3 stars and São Pedro Futsal Clube de Faro with 2.
The Sports Club “Os Olhanenses”, Albufeira Futsal Clube and the Youth Association of the Northeast Algarve Inter-Vivos are basic training centres.
