Bamby's urban artwork shows Silves' importance in the XNUMXth century

This work was carried out in a transformation station, located on Rua Cândido dos Reis, next to the Artlaundry laundry room.

The artist Hélder José, known as Bamby, is the author of a new work of urban art that shows the importance of Silves in the second half of the XNUMXth century, as a cork-producing center and the Arade river as a means of communication.

This work was carried out in a transformation station, located at Rua Cândido dos Reis, next to the Artlaundry laundry.

«This action aims to increase interest in Art in the municipality, as well as improve the quality of urban space, initiated by the municipality in 2016, as part of the commemoration of the International Day of Educating Cities», says Câmara de Silves.
