“Living in a Modernist House” is the theme of the second roundtable, which will take place online this Wednesday, April 28, at 18 pm, promoted by the Candidature of Faro the European Capital of Culture, within the scope of the MI.MO.MO project.FARO.

The session will be moderated by Graça Lobo, from the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and coordinator of the regional program HArPA – Histories, Art in the Heritage of the Algarve.

«What makes a family buy or live in a modernist architecture building? What impact do the characteristics of modernist buildings have, such as minimalism, functionality or the integration of indoor or outdoor spaces, on the daily lives of the families that inhabit them? What experiences do families associate with their modernist buildings?” will be some of the topics covered.

The MI project. MOMO.FARO intends to promote public discussion on major themes of the candidacy of Faro the European Capital of Culture 2027: the city in the digital age, the enhancement of cultural heritage as a legacy for future generations and institutional cooperation in urban regeneration.
