Portugal BMX Cup will be held in Portimão and Quarteira

Test starts in Portimão

The Portuguese BMX Cup will have eight scoring events, spread over four double rounds. It starts in Portimão on the 5th and 6th of June. It then travels to Setúbal (July 31st and August 1st), Figueira da Foz (September 25th and 26th) and Quarteira, Loulé (October 9th and 10th).

The National Championship will mark the high-level competitive debut of Coimbra's new BMX track on July 4th. On August 29, in preparation for the European Cup, which takes place the following week, the track at the Centro de Alto de Anadia will host the Grand Prix of Portugal.

The Olympic BMX track at the Centro de Alto de Anadia, in the parish of Sangalhos, will be the stage for the last two rounds of the European BMX Race Cup, on the 4th and 5th of September.

The European Cup decision for this Olympic cycling discipline promises to be the high point of a season that, in Portugal, will extend from June to October, with great territorial coverage.

In addition to the BMX Race, the pump track will have a strong presence in the 2021 sporting season. Like last year, the track at Parque das Nações, Lisbon, was chosen for a qualifying round for the World Pump Track Championship, on 17th and 18th July.
