Portimonense won with ease and with class details the Nacional, by 5-1, in the trip they made this Friday to Madeira Island, to dispute the match counting for the 25th round of the I League.

The Algarve, who were coming from a defeat against Porto, soon showed that they went to Madeira to score goals.

In the 14th minute, Beto shot, the ball bounced off a defender of the islanders, went up, made an arc over the goalkeeper, but Riccardo managed to avoid the goal and deflect it to a corner, with a slap.

The Algarve continued to look for the goal and ended up scoring.

In the 33rd minute, Beto received it from Moufi inside the small area and beat the Nacional goalkeeper, putting the Algarvians to win.

Nacional failed to react to the disadvantage and it was Portimonense who created the most danger.

And the second goal of the Algarve had to come, at 45 minutes, scored with great class, by Luquinha.

The Brazilian player received the ball in midfield, led it to the edge of the area and, taking advantage of the spaces opened by his teammates, shot at the angle of the goal, with no chance for Riccardo.

In the second part, Nacional moved from the beginning, to try to change the course of the game.

But the first opportunity for a goal, and the most obvious ones, was for Portimonense, and it was only a miracle that Aylton Boa Morte failed to make the deflection at close range.

In the following minutes, Nacional rounded the goal of Portimonense and was close to the goal.

Even so, it ended up being the Portimão team that increased the advantage, again with Beto taking advantage of a pass from Moufi, in the 53rd minute.

Even winning by three, the Algarve continued to be dangerous and showed that, for them, the accounts were not closed.

The fourth had even arrived, in the 62nd minute, scored with a free-kick by Fali Candé, who had just entered – it was the first time he had touched the ball.

Nacional went looking for the goal of honor and ended up getting it.

In the 68th minute, Rochez reduced the disadvantage, with a shot from outside the area that deflected a defender from Portimonense.

From here, the Algarve dominated the operations and were still in time to score another one, when two minutes passed from the 90's.

Fabrício isolated himself in front of the goalkeeper and, with all the calm in the world, placed the ball in the back of Nacional's goal.

With this result, Portimonense rises to 11th place in the league table, when 25 rounds are played, with 26 points, the same as Belenenses SAD.

Next week, the Algarve receives the Vitória de Guimarães in Portimão.
