Loulé delivers first public housing keys to families with Pedro Nuno Santos present

Marina Gonçalves, Secretary of State for Housing, will also travel to Loulé

Loulé will deliver, this Tuesday, April 27th, to families, the first keys to houses already bought and rehabilitated by the Municipality, in an initiative that will count with the presence of Pedro Nuno Santos, Minister of Infrastructure and Housing. 

Marina Gonçalves, Secretary of State for Housing, will also travel to Loulé.

At 15:00 pm, at Cineteatro Louletano, a ceremony will take place to present the work developed by the Municipality in terms of promoting the new generation of housing policies.

In this session, the keys to the dwellings, already acquired, rehabilitated and leased by the Municipality of Loulé, will also be handed over to eligible families under the “1º Direito” program.

This is followed by a visit to the terrain of two of the places where new houses will be built. First, at 17:15 pm, in the city of Loulé, on the plot of land at Urbanização da Clona, ​​next to the Sal-gema mine, where the construction of 128 dwellings is planned.

Then, at 18:00 pm, in Salir, at Fonte da Rata, where the foundation stone for the construction of the 17 single-family houses planned for here will be laid.

In October 2020, the Municipality of Loulé signed a collaboration protocol with the IHRU (Institute for Housing and Urban Rehabilitation) with a view to implementing the “1st Right” program in the municipality, in a ceremony presided over by the Prime Minister.

«New constructions, rehabilitation of fractions or buildings, acquisition of fractions or degraded buildings for subsequent rehabilitation, as well as the acquisition of land and construction of housing projects in a housing regime at controlled costs, are the housing solutions that the program contemplates, in the entire county, in the modalities of supported income and affordable income», he concludes.
