Europe at School: open enrollment for teacher training

Registration is open for new sessions of the short-term training action

Registration for the new sessions of the short-term training action for teachers under the project “Europe at School – Teacher Training” will open this Monday, March 1st, and will last until the 22nd. 

The sessions are organized under the project “Europe at School – Teacher Training”, an initiative of the European Commission Representation in Portugal, in partnership with the Directorate-General for Education, the Jacques Delors European Information Center and the Erasmus+ National Agency.

The objective of the training is to promote knowledge about the European Union and enable teachers of different levels of education (1st CEB, 2nd CEB, 3rd CEB, Secondary Education and Vocational Education) to develop educational activities about the European Union, involving students in the various fields of Citizenship and Development.

The action has a tutorial character, to support the use of Guides “Europe at School – Training for teachers”, one for each level of schooling, created based on resources and tools about the European Union, and the implementation of pedagogical practices of active learning that contribute to the development of skills and values ​​inscribed in the student's profile upon leaving compulsory education.

The training will take place at a distance (synchronous) and will have a total duration of 6 hours spread over 2 days. Candidates will be able to choose between the 5 classes organized during the month of April.
