The “Táxi do Amor” will travel around the municipality of Portimão, next Sunday, Valentine's Day (February 14), distributing gifts.
This is one of the initiatives taken by the Portimão Town Council to mark a different Valentine's Day – lived in times of pandemic.
Thus, the municipality, seeking to support the taxi and local commerce sectors, with online sales, reached an agreement with the municipality's two radio taxi cooperatives.
From this agreement, the “Táxi do amor” initiative was born, which guarantees, next Sunday, the delivery of gifts purchased online, to the home of the dear half, without any additional costs.
For this purpose, the Portimão Chamber is asking local commerce companies selling over the Internet to register, at 12:00 on Saturday, for this campaign, by filling out an available form. here
The costs of the services for delivering gifts to the citizens of the municipality of Portimão will be covered by the municipality. In other words, this service has no costs for the establishment, nor for the consumer, who will only be responsible for paying for the gift.
This is an initiative valid for the entire municipality of Portimão, for orders equal to or greater than 10 euros, in registered stores.
Also during Valentine's Day, the van, duly featured with the “Portimão Stay at Home” campaign, will gain another function and will travel around the municipality of Portimão, transmitting romantic messages through the respective sound system.
In this case, 20 people will be able to surprise their other half with the delivery of a message from the heart at their doorstep, and those interested should reside in the municipality and be fans of the official page of the Municipality of Portimão on Facebook.
To register, they will have to send an email to [email protected], until 9:00 am on the 12th of February, with their telephone number, the name of the person to be surprised and their address, in addition to the message to be broadcast, which will be recorded at Rádio Alvor studios.
The first 20 requests will be selected, with the guarantee that the candidates will know if their request has been accepted on the same day. The conditions for participation and functioning can be consulted at the following email address: Valentine's Day Operation (cm-portimao.pt).
