It is in this context that this project is born, which will begin with the organization of the conference cycle “Os Desafios do Rural”, which will take place in a virtual environment.

The first, under the theme “Digitalization in Local Communities”, will take place on February 23, at 17:30 pm, with live broadcast on the pages of My Land Federation Facebook and partner Local Action Groups.

This webinar will be attended by Maria do Céu Antunes, Minister of Agriculture, Vice-Rector of the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro Artur Cristóvão, researcher and representative of INOVA-RIA Rui Lopes and President of the Federation Minha Terra Ana Paula Xavier.

With the implementation of the "Uncommon" project, the partners involved in its implementation aim to identify effective responses to new problems and challenges emerging in current times on issues such as the transfer and production of knowledge and the incorporation of innovation in rural territories and growing importance of teleworking and the digitization of society.

Added to this are the new forms and trends in production, marketing and consumption of local products and the new centrality of rural territories, in a context of strengthening the articulation between rural and urban areas.
