“Conversas com Lábia” from ETIC_Algarve return with Carlos Coelho

Carlos Coelho will talk about “Brand influenza”

Carlos Coelho, one of the Portuguese references in the construction and management of brands, is the guest of ETIC_Algarve for the return of the cycle “Conversas com Lábia”, in an online session on the 26th of February, at 15 pm.

This cycle, which aims to «boost inspirations and enlighten thoughts», consists in sharing the experiences and knowledge of important figures in the area of ​​Creative Industries in Portugal and «provoking the creative minds» of trainees from the Algarve's School of Technologies, Creation and Innovation.

With the challenges of today, and because «knowledge is for sharing» ETIC_Algarve opens the event to the general public, because it believes that «it is essential to build a critical mass and also because an informed society is necessarily a better society, especially on days when misinformation is increasingly widespread».

On the return of “Conversas com Lábia”, guest Carlos Coelho will talk about “The brand influenza”.

Carlos Coelho, one of the great Portuguese references in the field of brand building and management, over 32 years, has led hundreds of projects for some of the most relevant brands in Portugal, such as Multibanco, Telecel / Vodafone, Yorn, Galp Energia, RTP , Cable TV, CTT Correios, Sumol, TAP Portugal, Sata, Leya, Sonae, Delta, Fidelidade, Sogrape, The Navigator Company, Portugal Sou Eu, among many others.

Among other awards, he was distinguished as “Marketing Personality of the Year 2005” by the Portuguese Association of Marketing Professionals, for his career at IADE Creative University and was also Marketing Personality of the Year in 2011 by IPAM.

Since January 2007, he has been the founder and president of Ivity Brand Corp, an international consultancy for the creation, innovation and management of brands, where he has accumulated more than 200 awards, including being elected 14 times as Company of the Year, the award for the best Branding project with the LEYA brand and the Golden Lion in Cannes, seeing Sonae's brand project recognized as the best in the world.
